皮影的造型制作，主要汲取了中国汉代的帛画、画像石和唐代的壁画等的艺术手法和风格，再配以镂空的线雕花纹。镂空线雕花纹不仅有着优美的造型外观，而且避免了表演时出现大片黑影。

The creation of shadow puppets draws inspiration from artistic techniques and styles found in Han Dynasty silk paintings, stone-carved images, and Tang Dynasty murals. This is further enhanced by the addition of intricate line carvings that create a hollowed pattern. These hollow line carvings not only provide an elegant visual appearance but also prevent the occurrence of large, distracting shadows during the performance.
