珐琅是一种玻化物质，以长石、石英为主要原料，加入各种成分的助熔剂、乳浊剂和着色剂，经过粉碎、混合、煅烧、熔融后，倾入水中急冷得到珐琅熔块，再经细磨成为珐琅粉。将珐琅粉调和后，涂施在瓷器上经过焙烧，便成为瓷胎珐琅。

Enamel is a kind of vitrified material, taking feldspar and quartz as the main raw materials, adding various components of flux, opacifier and colorant, after grinding, mixing, calcining, melting, pouring into water to get enamel frit, and then fine grinding into enamel powder. 盖碗是一种上有盖、下有托，中有碗的茶具，俗称“天地人”（盖为天、托为地、碗为人，有天地人和之意）。盖碗在清康熙年间出现在宫中，至雍正朝开始盛行。用盖碗喝茶很有讲究，清朝的皇帝和官员都是宽袍大袖，精美的珐琅彩盖碗使用起来更是既方便又不失文雅，在当时的场合很应景。
